Dinner & Boorsok in a Kyrgyz Home - Day Trip
An evening with a Kyrgyz family in their Bishkek home. Our driver brings you to the house, where elders, parents and children welcome you. You help in the kitchen with boorsok, then sit down to a dinner cooked by the mother of the house. One family member speaks English, so questions about traditions and daily life come easily.

Our driver collects you from your hotel and brings you to the family's house in Bishkek. Elders, parents, teenagers and children are all there to greet you. The mood is easy from the first minute.
Soon you are invited into the kitchen. You help make boorsok, small pieces of fried bread, and watch an everyday meal come together. The mother of the house cooks the rest from the recipes she uses daily.
At the table you share several homemade Kyrgyz dishes. Talk turns to customs, family values and ordinary life, with plenty of time for your questions. One family member speaks English, so nothing gets lost.
You can look around the home and see how it is arranged. Photos are welcome, and you can take a family picture together. After dinner you say goodbye, and the driver takes you back to your hotel.
