Day-by-day itinerary
Tap any day to expand. Every itinerary can be tailored to your dates, pace and fitness.
Your guide meets you at your hotel and we drive about 40 km into the mountains. The ride takes around an hour. The city falls behind fast, and the air turns cool and alpine.
Ala-Archa Gorge opens up with its river, pine forest, alpine meadows and snowy peaks above. Your guide asks how fit you feel and what you enjoy, then suggests a route. The pace changes whenever you need it to.
For an easy day, walk along the river and the valley floor, which works well for families. The optional cable car gives you mountain views with no effort. Feeling strong? Hike to a viewpoint or keep going toward Ak-Sai Waterfall, the hardest option of the day, with your guide beside you the whole way.
Lunch is your choice. Eat at a restaurant inside the park, or drive back to Bishkek for a place where locals eat and the Kyrgyz menu is longer. Afterwards we drop you at your hotel.
