Day-by-day itinerary
Tap any day to expand. Every itinerary can be tailored to your dates, pace and fitness.
We pick you up at your hotel and head straight to Osh Bazaar, the liveliest market in town. You wander past spices, fresh produce and snacks, try a few bites and chat with the vendors. Your guide shows you how to bargain the local way, and there is time for souvenirs.
The first tasting is at a small café. You get kattama, a crisp Kyrgyz flatbread, with tea boiled in a samovar. Then we walk the centre: Ala-Too Square for the changing of the guard, the Manas Monument, the White House, the Lenin Monument and Panfilov Park. The Philharmonic Hall and the Opera and Ballet Theatre show the city's cultural side.
The main meal is at Faiza, a restaurant locals love. Plates of lagman, plov, manty and samsa keep coming, and you eat as much as you like. Afterwards a short drive takes you to Victory Square and past the Central Mosque.
The last stop is a stylish restaurant for a traditional dessert and green tea. It is a quiet moment to talk over the day. Then your guide drives you back to your hotel.
