Day-by-day itinerary
Tap any day to expand. Every itinerary can be tailored to your dates, pace and fitness.
We collect you at your hotel in Bishkek. Tell your guide how much you have ridden before, so we can plan the ride around you. The drive to Arashan Gorge takes 40 minutes to an hour, and the city gives way to mountains fast.
At the gorge you meet the local horseman and your horse, picked for your level. Calm and slow, or a little livelier, it is your choice. You get a short safety talk and simple riding tips before you set off, even if you have never ridden.
The ride lasts two hours on mountain paths and through open valleys, with wide views of the Tien Shan. Your guide and the horseman stay close the whole time and adjust the pace for you.
After the ride we walk across the Sky Bridge above the Pigeon Waterfall. You hear the water below, and the far side opens onto the valley and the cliffs. There is no rush here. Then we drive back and drop you at your hotel.
