### Day 1: Bishkek to Ala-Archa National Park and back

Your guide collects you from your hotel in Bishkek. The drive to Ala-Archa National Park takes about 40 minutes, and the city gives way to forest and peaks quickly.

At the start you meet your horseman and your horse. A short safety briefing covers the basics. Then you ride for 2 hours along the mountain slopes, with views across the valley, the river and the Tien Shan. The pace stays easy, and your guide and horseman stay close the whole time.

After the ride, a shuttle bus takes us deeper into the park. We walk along the river through the forest at whatever pace suits you. Squirrels and birds come close here, and a walk further uphill can bring more wildlife and wider views. If your legs are done, the cable car lifts you to a high viewpoint with no effort.

Lunch is your choice. Eat at one of the restaurants inside the park, or bring a picnic and eat by the river. Your guide helps you pick. Then we drive back and drop you at your hotel.
